Louisville, KY - A child was taken to the hospital with minor injuries after being dragged by a JCPS bus, according to police. It happened just before 4 p.m. on Morning Star Way in Valley Station. A JCPS spokeswoman says the incident involved Bus No. 0148 from Wilkerson Traditional Elementary School. Police say the child's backpack got caught as the door of the bus closed, and the bus started moving again, dragging the child roughly 100 feet. The child -- who is roughly five or six years old -- sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was taken to Kosair Children's Hospital, according to Louisville Metro Police. JCPS will launch an investigation immediately, according to the school district spokeswoman. Posted By PSmooth
