Charleston held vigils last night to mourn the deaths of 9 black churchgoers at Emanuel African Methodist Episcopal Church. J.Denise Cromwell, a rep for Blind Justice, a new group formed to bring attention to the large number of unsolved killings of minorities, was among the mourners. Her unique family experience - raising a white adopted daughter in a black family- made her message for fellow mourners particularly powerful.
